Formerly known as Nosubstitute on here biggrin ? Would be an amazing coincidence if two cv8 owners had a Testarossa.

That's a nice car - if it's the one I believe it is.
Yeah, nosubstitute has morphed into MrPaulo!

I am still very unsure about what to do with the car.

That's a nice car with a cam, 365 odd RW, Pedders etc. If I remember rightly.

Very few for sale so I'm sure it would go promptly at an acceptable price.

Whether it will end up with one of the 1 month test drivers who degrade the vehicle, spend nothing, and then move on to the next victim, who can tell.

There have been a few recently. Irritating, as they usually become self professed experts in this short period of onwership. If a pup is acquired, rather than a decent car, they then proceed to spout their twaddle to anyone who will listen.

For me it’s going to boil down to whether I can get enough for it to make it worthwhile moving on. I’d rather it sit in the garage than just give it away. Especially since I have lavished so much on it over the years.

I don’t intend to sell privately. I don’t want the hassle. I wonder what I might get p/x? £10,000 or is that a bit rich?

The car is an ’05 CV8 Quicksilver N/A with basically every mod possible from the Monkfish catalogue with 38,000 on the clock.

pm Preciousmetal, who owns Elite Cars. From what others have said, his bids seem to be realistic, rather than cheeky.

How ever much you get for it, it won't be enough.

I still regret selling mine.

It's being looked after.

Absolutely love the thing. I think it's a keeper. Still makes me smile everyday I drive it 18 months later. Also had a fair chunk of cash thrown at it over the last 18 months.

Once I have sorted everything I want mechanically, needs new brakes which are on order. It will be going into the paint booth to have roof, rear bumper, boot and spoiler resprayed. Think that can wait till summer though.
