Yes I know it's not HSV spelt backwards but does anyone know if the new M4 is restricted power wise from new as my mate just brought a spankers one and whilst nice it didn't wow me going up the road flat out. G Box obviously helps enormously with 8 ratios and fast changing but it just didn't feel brutish. Google mentions nothing and he was not told anything and yes he was in full M mode.

I did say he could of had a new GTS and 10k spare but he is a badge man! rolleyes

All I know about the new M3/M4 is that the engine is so gay it has to play fake exhaust noise through the speakers laugh

I had an m4 for the day last Friday. Impressive car and the noise was great. Definitely not slow but found the dct a bit harsh. It's a seven speed on the m4 though. The turbos kicked in hard at 3.5k up and with the road conditions it just couldn't contain itself. Even in 4th it spun the rears when joining a motorway. £70k is very hard to justify IMO. Loved the head up display though. Definitely want that on whatever I get next smile

Tiff Needel took me round Silverstone in a Daewoo Nexia about 15 yrs ago. He beat other professional drivers in more powerfull Rwd BMWs and Nissans. One impressive driver and a memorable experience

Its a small cc turbo with too many gears, of course it wont feel fast even if it is. You're used to torque over a huge rev range.

Emma just thinking about build quality, you sorted your oil issue?
