Yay cheers for that. Do you have any pictures of yours on the car? Also does anyone get any funny comments from people like why have you put an Audi r8 badge on your vauxhall?

The comments don't happen, as no one knows it's a Vauxhall. hehe

Anyway, HSV were using the R8 moniker long before Audi. It seems that even when others have their towels out first, the Germans will still steal the sunbeds. wink

(Technically the Audi R8 was named after the Le Mans car with the same name...(from 1999)...but that's a Moot point.

OP - The full HSV 're-badge' kit is available from Walkinshaw Performance UK (press 1 for sales) and the R8 badge comes on a card template to mount it in teh right place.

I'm surprised no one has said anything about the R8 badge. I would of thought most people (that don't know) that drive past will be laughing saying look at that plonker thinking his car is an R8.

Thanks Gary. Do you own the matt grey VXR8 without the spoiler? What a car!

Took my r8 badge off along with all the hsv badges the previous owner had put on last week, personal preference, it's a vauxhall on top (we know its not really) but would rather go de badged, just me though nothing against people doing it, if you have your vxr8 badge I'll swap so I can stick it on if I ever sell it

I think HSV still predate that. Clubsport R8 was introduced in 1997 I think, on the VT Commodore.

I had the R8 badge on mine, Took it off as the silver coating began peeling off, didnt think the quality was that good to be honest for such an expensive badge.

Best pic I have of the badge before i removed it,
