That 'chain' thing before the race was embarrassing wasn't it? And if I'd ever worn earrings my Dad would have pulled them out

Was great to watch though, very happy for him, although it irked me slightly that he thanked God for watching over his car... I'd thank the engineers for that, not least because if there was an almighty, I think he'd have better things to do than push some 20 something's car around a track

He actually thanked God for getting the RIGHT powerpack.

And the fact that he will probably make around £100M from his new 5 year contract with Merc! (Good for him though, I don't begrudge him a penny of it)
