Thoroughly enjoyed the run on the Sunday. Thanks Mike and Si for the route, and to everyone for their swift but safe driving. Was a pleasure to be part of the convoy, despite getting stuck behind a Datsun for a while.

Well, that was a great wee drive! well done to those who organised it and it was great meeting everyone again! some great driving roads and not to much traffic! What way did you all go back to Stirling? I had a group of 5 going down the Sma' Glen, though everyone was still behind us when we made the turn off the A9, sat for a bit but there was just our wee group.

Me, Moif, Pah and Leigh turned off the A9 at Calvine and headed to Trinafour, then on to Tummel Bridge, across to Pitlochry, down to Aberfeldy and then into Crieff. We picked up the A9 at Greenloaning. It was a fantastic route biggrin

Yeah, it seemed there was some confusion about the route back and where we were turning off the A9 and who we were following. It's a shame we all got split up but hopefully everyone still had an enjoyable drive back smile

The Trinafour exit before Calvine is a road with 100% open sight-lines through the twisty bits (altitude too high for trees!) and some wide "devil's elbow" type bends wink
It meets the Calvine road.

Thanks for the feedback Em thumbup

If we had kept to the original plan of re-tracing our steps, the issue would not have arisen.

However, (agreeing with what you said) what we found is that we do need two-way radios for all/most attendees, in case there is a change of plan. Good idea re a digital version of the route too. smile
