Easy to miss as 'ls1'/'ls2' etc. on ebay bring up a lot of rubbish. Somebody give this intake a good home. Cheap F*** Eaton anyone? Truck intake? Somebody buy something and make an interesting thread wink

Got to admire someone forging their own path.

Misread this as Arnie's head...

Too many leftovers and projects that changed direction. The intake and 122 was going to be the prototype for an Ethyl style 4.0 whipple build. Then I decided to build a 6.7 stroker instead. And a 706cu twin turbo. And a VXR rebuild.

Recent purchases include an LSA supercharger and HSV GTS #16 (with a busted LS1).

I've just been offered Europe's first five second Top Alcohol dragster. Anyone want an Audi?

Be patient. I'll get bored and flog them all at a loss.

If that's the GTS I'm thinking of (bottom-end knock) I was looking at that with greedy eyes smile

I have a nice low miles LS1 for it. And I figure those brakes are way too good for it. It really needs some stock HSV callipers and discs. EBay will come to the rescue, no doubt.

Considered changing the alloys, having five sets of more recent ones lurking in the garage (buy it now is not your friend). Figure that it's probably worth keeping it original, though.

Damn you Arnie- I've been researching LSAs ever since your thread the other week!! Seems like the ZR1 intercooler cover helps with bonnet clearance, and you can get the CTS-V front drive accessory kit for $800....

The definitive LSA in an VXR8 (well Pontiac equivalent) thread:

Note that the charger fits with a tiny bit of firewall modification.

Or you could source the HSV lowered engine mounts and fit a taller profile tyre, as per the GTS.

Good to hear my old LS1 is going to end up in a Holden product. Fit it with some decent headers and an 85mm MAF. You could flash in a modified version the 04 vxr tune, or maybe a Stigmundfreud special for 380-400 hp.

Yes! It's just too nice a motor for the 2004 VXR roller that's sitting in my garage. The GTS already has a decent exhaust and a CAI, so it's begging for some headers.

I'd actually be tempted to try the truck intake, I just dont think it would physically fit my car. The bit that sticks out at the back would hit my bulkhead.
