Has anyone got the numbers for a brighter bulb in halfords at the moment.

Get your self a HID kit James £30 fitted in ten mins and us older drivers can see at night.

FORZA HID kit £30

I've got Xenons in mine from HIDs direct with a 2 year warranty. They were about £55 from memory.

Is it actually legal to retrofit HID's to existing headlamp units?

I believe you need to have auto-headlight adjusters and headlight washers to be legal.

I think the rules are, if you have them fitted, they need to be working. Had HID's in my Monaro for years, never had an issue with an MOT smile

Debating whether to stick them in the GTS or not, think I have Zenons at the moment ??

Mine passed an MOT earlier this year with them fitted.

The above post is correct, if the Xenons have auto levelling and washers they must work, nothing in there afaik about these being a mandatory fit.
