Cheap VXR8 for sale.

They are about at reasonable prices I just sold this for £11k , ok it had a wing & door but 58k , fsh ,pipes etc , & a 56 Maloo for £12k same again but 18k
Most of the trade that get hold of them ask all the money as there are thin on the ground at the mo

I'm new to the Monaro forum. I've always wanted one since coming back from Oz 10 years ago.

Anyway to cut long story short, there is a Monaro on E Bay for £5k starting bid and no reserve.

Seems too good to be true (it has been relisted due to not selling on the last auction).

Does anyone know of this car, or does it seem to be too good to be true.

That Monaro was for sale on PH at around £8k when I bought mine 3 months ago, so it does rather suggest there must be something wrong with it.

It has been for sale for £8000/£8500. although it has no reserve (to save seller fees) the car will probably get pulled if it doesn't make enough money. my guess is it will have to be over £7,000 as I know the of the seller but he is not on here. only seen the car once. seller has done most of the mods himself in last 2 years. goodluck

Judge it by seeing it not by the ad. Mine was around ages (I think) due to the "high" miles I suspect, but it turned out to be ok (so far!). A lot of people don't know how to advertise a car properly, even with a specialist car like this. This time of year is always a good time to buy but not to sell!
