Coolant Level

I know this has been discussed many times before but I just want to be sure, 05 VXR Monaro, this needs topped up right?




Pink stuff from Halfords do the job ok? Should be just below the second rim?

Yes you top up the coolant filler where cap is on O/S of radiator under plastic rad panel. top up to just bottom of the filler kneck

Halfords oat based coolant fine.

As a matter or course, change rad cap as well if level is dropping,

Thanks for your help everyone. The cap was changed a couple of months ago but I'm not sure if the coolant was topped up at the same time.
Anyway, done now. I didn't go all the way to the top. Roger mentioned in a previous thread about making sure you didn't go past the two pipes at the top or it would get air locked?
