Just buy the GM Performance CNC ported heads and flog your stock ones to someone with an LS2.

I have CNC ported LSA heads from Ligenfelter. Worth looking at as they are made from different material than LS3 heads and rotocast for strength.
However, if I were you I wouldn't bother as stock LS 3 heads are plenty good enough and it will make the same power on FI. Spend the money on quality valve train components.
What spec you going for? Are you going to upgrade your gearbox?

Agreed, get a new box from the States and shoot for 650whp/600lbs with pistons, rods and cam only. You won't be able to put more on the road anyway and your blower should remain coolish in most situations. With the auto it will be a weapon.jhinchy said:
