I drove down from Manchester and arrived just in time to see the convoy leaving. It was amazing. Then I pushed my way into the convoy and also lost everyone just after the section of road being resurfaced. There were so many charged V8's on display when we got back to top cats that all I can think about now is charging mine.

Today was epic. Fantastic display of V8-edness! I didn't really get chance to chat to many from on here in the end which was a bit of shame (too busy gawping!) but...there's always next time...

Big thanks to all of you guys for making the effort and coming down, it was pretty hard to count, but I got pictures of 141 V8s alone, and I know of 3 that I didn't get a chance to take a picture of!

Not to mention at least 20 non V8s!

Sorry I didn't get to chat to many people, I was parking cars until 10:15, took me an hour to get a picture of every car, then it was time to start forming up the convoy!

It was a great morning out with a couple of real highlights. The convoy was great fun and seeing my wife nearly jump out her skin when Goldy revved was hilarious

T500? That is one of the Topcats lot and I believe it has an LS1 in it (there's hardly a TVR at Topcats without an LS conversion )

Nope, it is my friends car. It had a total engine failure on Saturday on the M25 and my mate got it dropped off there to get fixed

It was a bit of a shock seeing that little van in the corner when we turned up!

I'd imagine with the money he made from Sunday his next chippy van will have a spirit of ecstasy on the front

There was a copper coloured TVR tuscan parked up at the back of the forecourt which I assume is the one R8VXF is talking about. The dark green Tuscan parked closest to the burger van and was driven in the convoy, is one of the Topcats LS conversions. It's got a the 7.0L LS7 in it.
