Hi Mac. I've heard you can recore them but I'm hoping against hope I don't need to go that far, well at least not at the present time as I have a daughter about to get married and a few other things going that will swallow up my 'MONARO FUND'. smile

Hi Swift.

I've seen these online, and I was looking for any reviews from Monaro owners, worth a look I reckon. Thanks for replying mate.

Yeah, I like the idea of these all ally rads - setting aside any claimed performance improvements, which would be a bonus if true - I like the idea of a one piece rad with no plastic ends to eventually fail again....and for good measure they cost no more than a standard rad.

Is it all just too good to be true though... scratchchin

Yep Swift, that last sentence is the main worry.

They're popular in the US, but then their standards aren't quite the same as ours, so it's always hard to know.

Presumably it functions as a radiator, so it's just how good the fitment is I guess? scratchchin

You got a big set of hammers? hehe

Hi Sturdy.

Good to know they are used on the US, but like you say maybe things are a bit 'different' over there.

Fitment looks okay judging by a few clips. I'll let you know which one I go for, at the moment erring toward the fish though.

It's been a while folks but the beast is up and running agin after new rad. Sounds louder than before, imagination I know, but by god does it feel good to get her back up and running. Thanks all for the generous advice, support and posts while I was trying to sort it out. smile
