Thought that E2 got wrote off after Goodwood Dougie after going through some hay bales backwards then rolling a few times ??

Great repair job I must admit biggrin

hehe
I heard it was a black one that the Walkinshaw family had, that rolled. It was repaired on the cheap and is full of filler, so if you think your paint is thick, think again. wink
You two are priceless. I really just bought a container full of red and black HSV bits and then made 2 cars out of it biggrin

Don't worry Dale only joking

This makes the car all the more special to me. A. The original owner, the late Tom Walkinshaw and B. It was used by Vauxhall at Goodwood festival of speed to show the new style VXR8.

This car has some nice history and i feel privileged to own it.

Thanks for the info Dougie and thanks for selling it to me James.

In 6 days time I will have had "The thunder from down under" 12 months and I have enjoyed every moment of my HSV ownership.

Hopefully I will be at Ace cafe for Australia Day.

Congrats. smile

Just passed 4ys ownership. Still have no idea what I'd replace it with. If I didn't love manual gearboxes so much - there might be a few options.

Today is the day 12 months ago that I became a V8 owner and I am still loving it, more so this time of the year.

He's photoshop'd the red photo to make the car look yellow, becuase he knows that yellow is the best colour biggrin

I was hoping that was the case and that he hadnt started breeding them.
Then can see the Red Mirrors dont suit the Yellow car that much

Just ordered some new plugs and leads from monkfish as I will be servicing the family saloon on Saturday.

I also did a full 4 wheel alignment yesterday including adjusting the camber, as it was out in a couple of places.

The above was last Saturday 23/01/2016.

Yesterday I fitted the new spark plugs along with some new competition magnacore spark plug leads.

I half expected some of the original AC delco leads to break up due to being there for 5 years, they all came off with out falling apart.

Net result is the engine now runs a lot smoother.
