true, but they reckon 19" are a better ride than 20", I reckon my MRC sorts that out, makes it smoother and easier for me to peruse the touch screen EDI wink

And the taller sidewalls they had to use for engine clearance also helps smile

having had lots of different VXR8s with different set ups with 19in and 20ins. The 20in E1 rides a bit harder but I would say the 20in E2/E3 alloys with MRC is the best I have come across (cant comment on new GenF as I cant afford one - biggrin yet) so Ian, Dale, PAH250 etc have the best set up I think

.....until they need new shocks. MRC are something like £600 each corner, I think. eek

Having had a standard E1 VXR8, and then lowering it with Pedders coilovers, and now moving to the E3 GTS with MRC, I would say that the E3 with MRC is the best compromise all round and not bad when set to track mode. It's way way better than a standard E1 VXR8. However, for pure handling, the lowered E1 VXR8 I used to have with Pedders coilovers, poly bushes and ARBs was the best handling car I've ever driven, but it was just too hard for day to day use...

VX dealer quoted me £1000 for a pair, but I'm sure WP would be able to get them at a more reasonable price.

Thankfully the two I had replaced last year were done under warranty.

Yes, and by the time you need them, I'm sure the manufacturer will be out of contract with HSV, and they will sell them under their own brand for a lot less. smile
