I have pedders suspension non adjustable. Would like the car to sit that tiny bit lower. Has anyone cut down their spring hats or fitted smaller ones to lower the car that tiny bit more? I have done it on previous cars in the past with no problems, a lot of people seem to do it on the BMW's.

Speak with Monkfish. They are the European distributor for Pedders, and I'm sure it's not the first time that Pedders have come across this. (having seen what the Aussies are like for playing with their cars).

I have contacted monkfish and they have told me that there is no such thing as super low springs for the pedder shocks and using a lower spring will reduce life of the shocks and can make them fail. Bit confused now

Can not see how it will reduce shock life as long as it does not bottom out etc
