no, Michelin and reviews saying better all-round and great in the dry.
just dont be a cock in the wet, just the same as any tyre. Cups 2s very much better in the wet than cup1s.

PSC tyres only have 5mm of tread when new. If they make that 6.5mm, they get the extra 50% - but they could double the life by putting a full 8mm of tread on them, like other tyre manufacturers.

Ohhh yeah, forgot about that biglaugh

I'll be killing off the remaining tread of my current MPSS's at Neil's tomorrow, so I'll be on fresh rubber for the National meet at the end of the month smile

Can't agree with the snobbery James, though I'll agree that you've got to look hard to find a really bad tyre nowadays. Stick uses £50 tyres so that he can smoke them out. To get better tyres means you spend more. To get the best, you pay a lot more - and as with all modifications, it's a path of diminishing returns.

BTW, I don't use Michelins. wink

Agree, its not about snobbery, just the best you can get, money no issue.

+1

Grip is used for both acceleration AND braking, I know I have a tasty brake setup but I'd be surprised if a ling long special could pull up in the same distance as a MPSS.

If somebody cares to supply a spare set of wheels we can even test it at TR on my car using my vbox to record the 100-0 times.
