Looking at replacing my MPSS with Cup 2's.

In less than a year they've gone off - haven't got them properly hot yet this year, but way easier to break traction than last year

Can't agree with the snobbery James, though I'll agree that you've got to look hard to find a really bad tyre nowadays. Stick uses £50 tyres so that he can smoke them out. To get better tyres means you spend more. To get the best, you pay a lot more - and as with all modifications, it's a path of diminishing returns.

BTW, I don't use Michelins. wink
Smoke them out yes but for the cost they grip pretty good Araf i was very suprised myself.

I take it all the Monaro owners with these are happy with stability. No tram lining etc?

Serious good tyres for the money and can be had for £160 a pop which is a bargain compared to when they first come out and were £200 a corner.

In a nutshell, I wouldn't run anything else. Not even Cup2's and there are times I'd benefit from the extra grip but my car is used rain or shine so for me MPSS are perfect thumbup

no tram lining at out and loads more grip, plus steering is much better
