Scraping noise :(

Hi all
My Monaro VXR has started today making a quite loud scraping noise from the gearbox area that you can feel through the gearstick. It seems to do it in all gears and even between gears and only when the clutch is depressed, seems to do it more as you're decelerating and going down the box and braking using the gears
Any ideas, hope it's not an expensive noise

Sounds like thrust bearing.
It will be expensive if it breaks up so get it to someone sooner rather than later.

That's quite a big job anyway, even if it doesn't break up isn't it?

Maybe 3 hrs labour and parts.
£250s my guess.

Fingers crossed for you mate hope it's not to bad news. Think it's on its original clutch unless you've had it done ?
