Wanting to take the front bumper off and have only manage to find some very low rez instructions.

Just wondering if anyone had any decent pics/instructions of which screws to remove (and which not to miss biggrin)

CV8 2005 facelift version if possible.

Cheers guys

Hi undo the screws /clips that are in the bonnet area and are visible with the bonnet open , then I think it's three on each side they are top and bottom of the bumper screwing into the wing area, but are very visible , normally black Phillips screws , they are in the wing area between tyres and front wings , there should be some play in the bumper , there are the brackets I think in the wing area again and it's a pull out of the bracket area , you can't see the brackets , it's not nearly as bad as you expect , I did a vxr8 that's way more important , hope that helps

On the VXRs there are a couple of brackets underneath in the centre, so it's worth a quick check there in case the CV8 has them as well (I've not taken a bumper off a CV8), otherwise yeah, there's the ones visible when you open the bonnet, and the ones on the edge of the wheel arches in front of the tyres thumbup

I've seen some on here that removed their bumpers very easily.

1/ Drive forward into parking space until your wheels touch the curb (ignoring scraping sound)
2/ Reverse off curb

Cheers guys... I must say the easy removal method is tempting, doesn't even need tools (bonus).
