Midlands Mini Meet at MYM8V8's - 03/05/2015
Discussion
Hi Guys n Gals.
Sorry to those who can't make this date. It always a problem, but we may do another Septemberish, time allowing.
For those who haven't been before, my company sponsors the meet and provides free refreshments pretty much all day, although I will need a bit of help with the BBQ this time as my brothers brain went AWOL some time ago.
We missed our "Mini meet" last year due to pressure of work, before that our theme was to collect funds to support the child of one of our forum Brothers, Kyle Stock, who tragically lost his life. That was a fantastic effort and we raised over £1300.
This year I would like to do a "Purple Day" in support of Epilepsy Action of which I am a lifetime member.
(I don't suffer BTW, but have a family member that did). We'd like to do a small raffle to raise funds, so if you fancy bringing a small prize, that would be great, and totally optional.
This mini meet started as a gathering of three or four of us just kicking tyres and breathing the fumes one Saturday but developed into an attraction for VXR's and Holdens from all over the country, including north of the border.
I don't mind if we get six, sixty or six hundred, but I do need to know the numbers in order to get enough food in. If it looks like rain the Barby will be indoors with the usual seating arrangements.
Stick you names on the list with passenger numbers and Make and Model . Cheers.

Thanks Gareth. The last one was good, so count me in (if I can palm the children off onto someone!).

Just a thought but did you get an offer of help with the BBQ?? If not, I've cooked at a couple of large BBQ's in the past so may be able to assist but would want a discussion first about what type of BBQ you are using etc.....
Ozzy - Rinnai. Good enough? TBH there aren't that many at the mo.Gassing Station | HSV & Monaro | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
