I have got one of the Axxess ASWC units after reading on the US forums they perform better then the PAC modules. May be with a read up on, apologies can't find the link at present....

There's a plug and play adapter on ebay without the need to cut wires etc but is more expensive. I'd take this option if I was doing another stereo install in my car. Much neater I think

I don't remember cutting wires with the PAC, but I did use a ferret-recommended plug...I guess people are cutting off the plug above the ISO connector?

Gary. I've got a swi jack kicking around somewhere. Brand new kit, I took it in part ex from GSD2000 so I know its for an LS1 car. If its any good let me know.

Ordered one as the SWI I had never worked right, and is plug and play - expensive, but very easy to connect up and no fecking around with programming. So far so good. cool
