If anyone wants to upgrade to a full size spare, I'd be keen to pick up a VXR space saver...

Am I right in thinking that the VXR space saver will fit over rear AP's and therefore it will get me home in the event of a flat?

You're blessed with a big boot though, aren't you? Some of these poor souls have already given over half of their boots to a petrol tank. hehe

My 19" full size won't fit in the wheel well of my big boot VXR. Just slightly too big with tyre.

Just stays in the boot when I'm away, shed rest of the time. That's a 04 19" VXR rim with a 245/35 Falken on it.

I had a full size spare initially, but sold it on as it doesnt quite fit perfectly.. And weights a ton!

Just have a foam 'get out of jail' can in the boot now, but should get a vxr space saver really.

According to the Manuel (Que?) and Common Sense the Space Saver is for fitting to the Front Only and Not Recommended to be fitted to the Rear at all - Massive PITA which is why I bought a Full Sized Spare smile

It's in albeit at a jaunty angle atm, but with a new boot floor and some old fashioned Blue Peter 'Engineering' it'll work so long as I don't wanna use the boot for golf bats - Oh wait, I'm with Samuel Clemens on this one biggrin
