A thought just occurred to me. Are you using the EDI or the gauge in front of the gearstick? You should see at least 62kPa as that is the factory rated boost level (9psi). If you can get to Reading this weekend, I can have a look for you...

Initially I was looking at the lower gauge, but today I discovered that you can choose which gauge to show on EDI. So it is the upper one I am checking out now.

I know I am asking a lot now, but can you describe the steps you are taking to adjust it?

I loosen both bolts holding the bracket, then pull the bypass blade towards fully sealed position, ensure there is a 1mm gap between that and the set screw, position the valve so that it is tilted anticlockwise and tighten the bolts up.

Seems no rocket science...

I will se if I can get out on maybe Saturday or Sunday evening to have it checked with you. Thanks.

It also took me a while to figure out those gauges! I could come over to yours on Saturday evening if needed.

It is quite fiddly when you don't know what you are doing, one wrong move and you end up opening the valve as I found out, but once you know what you are doing it is simple. If you can get over here, I do have somewhere close by where we can test it out with full bore launches. Peak boost comes fairly close to max RPM so you generally need a passenger to be your spotter. My wife saw the 67kpa for me on the motorway up to Derby.

Thanks for the offer of coming to visit smile I will let you know, though. It would be great to meet over the weekend and chat about the experience so far. I am not sure what time I am going to finish my chores tomorrow, but I will send you a PM if there is prospect of meeting.

Thanks
Bart

Got it somewhere in stacks of emails, but forgot to save it into the phone.

Let's play it by ear. Maybe I could come up on Sunday some time. No panic smile
