They seem like a bargain, jegs did sell stock ls3 heads very cheap over christmas

Just swap the spring for a decent set of beehives for insurance

They do look good very good. Perhaps they were ported by LS8VPower ? smile

Only other thing to note is those heads use sodium filled exhaust valves instead of inconel which deal with the heat better. Wonder how it can be alright to use 11mm studs in a 12mm hole, do you just do them up "really tight" and hope they don't move?

They can't move because the heads are dowel located to the block. The bolts apply a vertical clamping force.
