Added you on with the build date. I think from what I'm reading that there is no build number on CV8s. Thanks for the e-mail - will respond with more info.

Yours has raised an interesting issue though, in that as there are no build numbers on these CV8's, we have no way of uniquely identifying each CV8 on the list. There is another car on the list with the same colour and build date as yours formerly owned by Hammo19. Perhaps this is a different car, or maybe it's the same car and we've recorded it twice.... Will have to think about this one.

Having looked through the old build register, Richie Slow posted the below back when he had a CV8:

I've done a bit of digging around and found this link which explains what some of the information on a build plate means. I have no idea if it is correct:



I think Phill has the best idea in that we could use the last 3 digits of the chassis/body number to along with the build date to uniquely identify each car.
