noticed my aircon wasnt working..so checked the aircon belt and its hanging off behind the main pulley thing.

will this cause a prob and should i remove it ?

also how easy is this to fix or will a stealer visit be needed ?

Cut it off before it gets tangled up behind the crank pulley and takes out the front oil seal.

Unless you can put it back on. Just needs a 15mm spanner.

Permanent fix is the GM A/C bracket mod.

Probably the chunk that wore away when your power steering wasn't working, and you were getting a funny noise?

As Mf1 says, I think you need to keep an eye on the oil seal behind the bottom pulley for a while now.

i havnt had any power steering issues....only steering noise i had was when the front spring was broked biggrin

but yesterday, when i went to jump start the s2000 ,the engine was making an odd roaring sound...i thought it was just the fans kicking in :/

I have changed both of mine as the main belt was chirping and the AC belt had a split in it.

I bought a pair of Gates belts for mine.
