One very knowledgeable chap told his mate at Brand that the big red car circulating was the new Octavia VRS (2010). Mrs Araf was standing close, and asked them how many Skodas they knew of with over 6 litres of V8 under the bonnet.

North-bound on the M6 Friday, about Stafford/Stoke spotted a Mazda 6 series saloon mid-red unmarked Traffic Car making progress, passing me along the hard shoulder. Cloaked blues and siren.
I've seen a lot of unusual traffic cars in plain wrappers but NEVER a Mazda.
