Just double checking but UK cars (fitting to a CV8) have the black oval shape 4 pin connectors yes?

I just changed the o2s on my 04 CV8 - they were the 4 wires in a row style, not the 2x2 ones.

Likewise on mine, although I didn't need extenders for the LT headers... confused

Phill, is that your thread on ls1gto? If it is, who have you talked to about tuning? MF? Walkie? Ringram? That's quite a big cam smile

Yep that's right, not had any answers from
Anyone UK said apart from Greg grush. Two friends of mine run the same cam (not in monaros) but ls1s, with good results and driveabiltiy.

Also means I can change oil pump and chains at the same time!
Haven't heard of ringram?

If you have friends with the same cam that's very handy, as you could use their tune as a basis.

Ringram (Richard Ingram) doesn't post on this forum any more, but he's the UK EFI live distributor. He has gotten lots of people started on DIY tuning.

That's very true, I have/will have a base tune for it from si donuts more fine tuning. I'll have a chat with Richard thank you for that.

I'll pop a afr in whilst I'm doing the exhaust also

Yeah, definitely fit a wideband...just understand its limitations around tuning idle (especially since you'll be chucking raw fuel down the exhaust). Read up on where to fit the wideband (especially if it's an innovate as they seem sensitive to getting too hot). Sorry if teaching grandma to suck eggs!

I have some extenders somewhere. Packed up ready for moving but I bought them and didn't need them.
