I got a kit from Aus which i think was around £200, then you have to take the headunit out, take it apart and solder a load of wires onto the circuit boards at various points, took me a while but i did it and it worked first time

That's awesome, bugger formtaking it apart and soldering, pretty much my worst skill!

Yes I did James I'm going to call them tomorrow , up until this morning I had not decided on a make. Just doing all the homework ahead of time

Okay thx. They are good quality and worked well on both Monaros I had done with DDIN units

Looks similar to the PAC SWI, and nice price. I waited bloody ages for my PAC to arrive from Germany, couldn't find a domestic supplier at the time.

Finally got all the parts togethor to fit the new headunit and have to say thanks to the people on this forum it was pretty straight forward. Got the steering wheel control adaptor and facia from incar tec and the aerial adaptor off eBay as suggested by Ferrett. I have to say I do know now why so many fitted metal brackets as the plastic ones that come with the facia are pretty c**p, you pretty much have one chance of getting aligned, will certainly be changing mine out for metal brackets, otherwise very happy with the mod.
