Gents, I'm out for the evening in the 'ro. I've locked it with the keyfob but now it won't unlock...I guess the battery has gone in the fob. Can I unlock it with the key or will the alarm go off?
If I can't use the key then I've gotta get a cab home and pick up the spare key.
In the meanwhile I'll sit and enjoy my pizza :-)
Cheers peeps!

Mine did something similar the other week would not lock. Locked and unlocked with the key then remote worked fine, put it down to being in a black spot.

Cheers folks. Alarm sounded when I opened with the key but stopped when I started the engine.

Did your range improve with the new battery?

Yes from standing by drivers door to more than 20 feet from the front of the car , so it was much better , I was getting worried how close I had to stand to it to unlock

remember if the battery is going flat , point the key at you head so the blade touches your temple, seems to extend its range..dunno how but it works.
