Pistonheads was off-line around tea-time today.

Since then, when a car is mentioned by name in the forums, the word is highlighted as a hyperlink.

As soon as I add this post, the hyperlinks don't show anymore!

You can moan about skimwords on the website feedback subforum, or just take the path of least resistance and install an ad blocker. They should disappear if you log in unless that's changed.

PS, not inferring it isn't worth moaning about...

I wasn't having a go, just that it's something I've never seen before.

Thanks for the info from your Hyperlink! (irony!) That explains it nicely.

I had to log on to add this new post, so that's what disabled it.

I always have Adblock Plus turned on but it didn't prevent this evening's skims.
