I was wondering who specializes in breaking Holden ute spares. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Ute specific is very rare. You can try raving (Gary) or speed4u (Brett) on here, as they are the most likely in the UK to have parts. Failing that, you'll have to bite the bullet and have bits fabricated, or buy them in from Oz.

Is it UTE specific parts or parts that you might also find on Commodores / Monaros?

Thanks ARAF I'll give them a shout.

Looking for more ute orientated spares rather than Monaro spares.

Apart from that, post up what you are looking for, as many Ute owners are hoarders, and will often pick up unique parts for their vehicles "because it might come in handy sometime." - at least that's why I have kept bits. redface

Looking for a P/S quarter window for VY SS ute (not sure if SS are different than non SS models.) I asked about interior spares from the gold one on ebay and the guy wanted more than it cost new from Holden in OZ, I hope hoarders don't try and charge a massive premium for being in the U.K

If you know the part number, it may be worth contacting one of the glass companies - or Glassman on Ph, as he always seems helpful. smile

It's not the glass I'm looking for it's a decent rubber that I'm after that surrounds the glass as mine is a bit perished.
Thanks Sidster as that is a nice gesture, I too use to live in the land of OZ for 9 years and still have a few mates there who could score some bits for me but I prefer trying to find bits in the U.K but not at extortionate prices.

If you're after perishables, buy new. Secondhand will be just as bad as yours.

If they're anything like the rubbers on the Monaro rear quarters, then they're bonded on to the glass.

PS Where are you getting the new prices from? I'm after the rear quarter windows on my Commodore as the rubber looks tired.

I ordered rear quarter windows and thought I would get door rubber set and window seals while I was at it and a few other bits and bobs from Oz last month. But I was just seeing if anyone had any other type of ute bits that they may want to sell out of there stash.

I've got some VE SSV brake discs, calipers and pads. Also some cast exhaust headers and standard cats. I think there's about as much call for them, as there is for the 17" steel spare wheel that's sitting in my garage.

It was more a list of what I have. None of it is any good to anyone. smile
