Is this in the ball park price wise? Not sure what these trade at. Seems a bit on the expensive side

Yes this is at the sheffield branch.

Price is what somebody will pay and this is the only one up for sale.

Agree but are there any recent comparables for prices of this model to gauge if its remotely reasonable?

I reckon £35k would be closer to the real value.

We have seen E3s just below £30k, but then Bathurst S's see m to be priced in the low £30k's now, so who knows?

Heard Andy Sarge was selling his car but Mick got there first and then seen yellow Gts and know a guy who has a white Gts and a three way swap was going to happen so hence mine was up for sale had some silly offers and not desperate to sell so put it up for another month with Pistonheads to see what happend long story shortened longest I have had any car too at just over two years.

So is the aim to get into another hsv just newer model or something else?

Yes another Hsv did look at Shelby Mustangs and camaros but dont think I could handle left hand drive Gen F growing on me and suppose that is the way I should go if I sell the car trade in prices are a good laugh no one seams able to value the Bathurst S or maybe I over value it but it is one superb car so no hurry should just use it more and with the house nearly finished may just have that time.smile

I think it's too expensive when you consider what the gen f's are

The gen F's are only 3 to 5k more then the out going E3 list price.

So with the prices of the E1 cars being high then it has a knock on effect further down the line.

40k represents a 9.5k loss in 3 years at list price.

The E1 LS3 were a 25k bargain due to vauxhall needing to shift them after fetching too many over.

Which is ironic given that some car 5 to 7 years down the line are fetching close to that figure, not including sc models.

I believe the truel list price for the E1 was 35k the E2 was 40k and the E3 49.5k

The gen F 53 to 55k.

We can not have high prices for E1s and then say that the E3 are over priced after all there are far less E3 to E1 ratio.

Supply and demand.

I understand your argument re: supply and demand......I just wonder if there is demand at this price. It only takes one person I guess
