So at the back of the engine bay is a yellow label made from plastic with the word 'pilot', anybody know what this may be, possibly test / prototype for auk. Interested in the history.
Build number is 2.

When I worked at Ford as an Engine buyer in Detroit in the 80's new cars were initially assembled in our pilot plants around the world based on model and sales market. Assembled by hand by a group of prototype build mechanics from the very first manufactured/prototype parts. Maybe a pilot plant car. GM had the same procedure. Maybe that?

Means it was built on line before official production started.
