I am in the process of fully refurbishing a set of VXR8 calipers and having them professionally painted and then will be sold, I am stuck as to what colour would be the best option for good resale interest, would people go for the original oem red or yellow just for a change of colour to their original red ?

Actually, I think that yellow would be a good option, as it goes really well with black, and someone may then buy yours to swap theirs (if you get what I mean). If you have them painted red, then most of your target audience will already have them on their car.

Doesn't Goldy want to do a caliper swap on his Ute?

Nice one James, I do like the yellow and red combination, red calipers just seem a bit dated now and every vxr8 came with red, just nice to add a bit of difference I think

Haven't both red and yellow been done to death?

Orange gets my vote. Now neither side can complain.

Bit too much information and bit too personal. Might want to ask the other half first rather than on here wink

Decided to have them done yellow, I was still unsure even when I got to the powder coaters but the thing that swayed me from red was the guy that owns the place said "everyone does them red and its dated" I think he could be right, so yellow it is, should get them back next week, gives me time to get the HSV stainless steel laser cut decals sprayed black or my go mirror polished
