Any update on yours Jez? Hope you're tuning it yourself (doesn't count otherwise) biggrin
It's on it way back up to Monkfish for the engine install. (If the cars not done for the summer I'll take it straight on to phase....erm.....oh I forget. Rear end and gearbox mod, hitch will see me suitably poor and the car through winter 2016.
No, not me tuning it. I know enough about tuning to realise I don't know enough to tune a serious power project. Nor is the GM ecu up to the job either so it's all change (Syvecs)

I was going to ask you about the ecu if you switched to the syvecs or not smile

Did you go for the S8?

Good call, S6Plus would cover most needs ( I'm still budget limited to the lowly S6 ), but I'd say to go for the S8 purely as it has far more logging ability as well as a few more I/O's.
S6Plus is still stuck with only 1meg for logging, S8 would have 128meg.

S6 can do a lot with that 1meg, but it really should have more.

I'll upgrade myself some day, hopefully soon.

I read quite an interesting debate/argument between Motec & Syvecs the other day by representatives from both companies , it was getting quite heated but interesting from back in 2013

on GTR Life or somewhere like that ?

Having used both, and by no means an expert on either....I'd choose Syvecs every time.

It simply offers more for the money. In some respects a lot more, as Motec still charge money for "extras" which in this day and age should be standard features.

There are pros and cons fwith both, but IMO just a lot more Pro's for the Syvecs.
