I was booked into the Holiday Inn for which I booked a flex rate.

The Travelodge doesn't have much apart from a hotel, no bar etc, but the Premier Inn is more expensive and further away for the Saturday morning.

I do wonder if the runway is shorter
Cottesmore is 64 ft (19m) longer, so I guess they just had a short bit of wire, that day. wink

Not just you. I went with the non-refundable option on the hotel too.

Hopefully we'll get the lost hotel cost back. Probably depends how extravagant we've been on hotels. Luckily I'm tight so it was a cheap hotel to start with laugh
I am sure the hotel cost will be refunded from what I gather.

Looks like we've inadvertently done the north/south split again.

Myself, moif, MikeyB and Dale (DRC) have booked in at Peterborough (Norman Cross A1(M), J16) for £32.50. Anyone else is more than welcome to join us. No problems with parking there and the food/drink is top notch smileburgerdrink
How you got it for £32
They want £49 for me
Are you looking at the right one? It's still £31.50 on Prem Inn web site. Post code is PE7 3TB.
Yes a1 a15

Just spoke with Premier Inn Customer Services, as I hadn't had confirmation for my new booking, and when she asked if there was anything else she could do, I did mention that I needed to cancel my Ipswich booking for the same day.

She cancelled the booking, and said that because I had booked another Premier Inn, she would refund the original Ipswich SE booking.

Anyone else with a non-refundable booking, it's worth a call on 0333 003 0025 - not the reservations number. smile

Is a spectator allowed to drive or do I have to pay for another driver?

Spectators cannot drive since they wont have had the necessary induction, indeminities and day license.
