Thanks to all of those who came. It was great to see some new faces and catch up with friends. It's a shame the weather wasn't fully on our side, but it didn't spoil my fun/hooning smile

Looking forward to next year (and the North Coast 500 in the interim).

Mike

Just got back home after a fantastic weekend away. Thanks to everyone that took part. Special thanks to Simon for arranging the route and the lunch, even though he wasn't able to attend either.

I'm quite sure we'll arrange another one for next year and do it all again smile

Had a great time again. Thanks to the clan for organising another brilliant drive.
Got home in seven hours with one stop at Scotch Corner for fuel and a pee, and my mileage for the weekend was 1053.

(Thanks to Paul for the image)

There's no pics of my Odyssey Monaro! I missed you all peeling off at Oban Harbourside.

Upside was a clear run all to myself on the Duke's Pass, no other cars at all. The rain must have kept folk awayhehe

We were lucky for most of the day being dry for some of Scotland's best roads.

Sorry I couldn't wait long at Stirling, I had an airport run later on.

Still, good to meet up with new and also well ken't facessmile

I would just like to say what an awesome weekend we/i had.

Full of banter and petrol burning with like minded people who can have a laugh( even when we rip each other).

Thats to the guys that organised it and thanks to everybody who came and made it great.

Sir Dale.

Great to read that you all had a good time. I have ideas about next year but maybe time to move south as we have been in Scotland last few years.

Now I believe that was the 7th national meet so far so good we have had them all over the country.

I think the North Coast 500 should be the aim for the 10th meet. But that will take a few days to cover and as we have people coming from down south so a bit planning involved in that.

So ideas for next year would be great so we can get the ball rolling if there is not already ideas about it.

Thanks

Simon

As an Anglophile,I have to say that the Scottish roads are without equal South of the border and a real draw. For those of us fortunate enough to be able to leave the house and within minutes be driving these routes, we shouldn't take them for granted and should use opportunities to share these roads with others who live further afield.

For me, the awesome driving roads, lack of traffic jams and amazing scenery in Scotland are unbeatable anywhere else in the mainland UK. I think this adds hugely to the meet.

Wasn't there talk last year of having a Scottish meet and then a separate meet somewhere else in England/Wales on a different date? This might be a good solution. Of course someone needs to step forward and arrange said meets...

Either. They are both rubbish for driving.
