B and m shifters are good for what they are and are a lot cheaper , changing gears is much better , the road response pack helps the more relevant bit is the diff brace helps on traction , quick rack is a good way forward , the xa coilovers are quite harsh but make the car a lot more nimble , Lowering can cause problems as the cats on a sportier exhaust are normally the lowest thing plus front and rear bumper issues , ap brakes are good on the earlier cv8 I know over time brakes were improved , on a budget I would b and m shifter , and look at Spring and shock options and do the road response pack

When doing my clutch a month ago I took the standard shifter off to get the box out and when I did it was all very dry in there so I did a thorough clean and and put white lithium grease to aid lubrication and it feels so much better so before you do the shifter try that first as it really makes a big difference

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

To be honest, I haven't put a lot of thought into it. The car hasn't moved in weeks biglaugh

This happens every year, I bring it out for its MOT and service then put it back in the garage and forget about it.
