Hi all - thought I'd share this.

My sister threw a surprise birthday party for me - and had a friend of hers decorate a cake based on a photograph she was sent of my Monaro VXR500.

Here's the result. rofl

I don't suppose anyone wants to place any orders.

(It tasted OK though),

Enjoy,

Ian

PS - since I reached this age, VXR8s are starting to look much more attractive - so the stories must be true Araf. wink

Did you trade the VXR500 in for a Vauxhall Adam eek

I hope cakes are not her main business or job. Nice thought though biggrin

Get used to it (missing stuff that is).

:-)

Mind you - my Monaro keeps me young (oh ... and penniless).

Where are the government with issuing petrol vouchers for pensioners I wonder?

Best

Ian

PS - apparently, the lady cake maker said she wasn't very good with cars - nooooo.
PPS - she did put a blob of icing to represent my AP racing brakes - and you may notice the attempt at the nostrils.

Doesn't do cars biggrin

Reminds me of the White horse Pub in Chilgrove, Sussex. Used to have a black cat as a pub sign confused apparently the sign writer / painter doesn't "do" horses. So black cat it was biggrin
