My second gear doesn't particularly like being shifted down into from a higher gear sometimes. I'd really love to rebuild it myself and stick lots of nice Tick parts in there, but I think one has to be realistic with when / if I'd ever actually get that done...

Anything to do with an extra copper washer in there Mate? May need adjustment on the rippy?

You reckon the 'anti-venom' mod could damage the gearbox? I thought the worst shimming the detent could do is fall out of gear, but every day's a school day...
