Hi
Thought id start this as a few of us have taken some deals recently on the Cupra / Cupra Black Leons.

Ordered today, due september 5DR DSG in Dynamic Grey, went direct to Birmingham Seat, got a deal thats about £80 more than the CVL one but they are taking my Leon FR off me for a really decent price.

Just need to tell the wife now eek might hang on till September and surprise her

Hello fellow Cupra lease-ee.

Thought i'd check for a thread since I saw mention of it in the big huge lease deal thread. Placed my order yesterday via CVL for a 5dr DSG in dynamic grey. I'm pretty sure your deal is actually about £300 cheaper than mine over the term.

I've also just noticed that CVL are doing the ST for the same price as the 5dr so I've contacted them to see if the dealer will change from 5dr to ST. Don't need the space but just prefer the looks.

Have requested December delivery as my current Golf R wasn't due back until the end of March. Love the excitement of waiting for a new car.

Ordered a monsoon grey from Scott at Cvl as soon as I could on Monday morning, can't believe what a good deal these are!
Only thing is I drove past a Dynamic grey Cupra on the way home which looked awesome so hope I have made the right choice on colour.....

Hi Guys,

I ordered a monsoon grey Cupra ST through Keith at CVL on Monday as well. I've been like a kid in a sweet shop boring my misses to death with different pics of them haha. Looking forward to getting it. Haven't paid the admin fee yet as I haven't been asked to. Have any of you guys paid the admin fee to CVL yet?

Yep, got the call that finance was accepted Tuesday am and paid the admin fee shortly after as I wanted to ensure there was nothing on my side that could hold things up. I see some others have managed to deal with Seat dealers direct and avoid the fee but for me having to pay £180 to secure my real-world dream car was worthwhile. Btw, glad to hear I am not alone in spending too much time looking at pics of them on Autotrader etc!

Ok I'll call them and pay the admin fee in the morning.
Personally I was happy to pay the admin rather than maybe miss the deal by waiting till I could get to my nearest Seat dealer.
Haha I think I could tell you the reg numbers of all the Cupra 290's on auto trader

The guys that went to the dealers definitely got the best deals. I'm not complaining about a hundred quid here of there though. Watching all those people miss out on the last batch of Golf R estates because they were obsessed with saving £5 here and there taught me not to fk about too much if you want the deal. I wouldn't even have bothered chancing my local Seat dealer. I've visited there twice and it's rubbish, it's a shed attached to the back of a Skoda dealership.

Must admit, I've become a bit obsessed with searching google images and must have watched every video on YouTube at least twice as well as read every review.

This is a good un

Yeah I know what you mean mate. Not worth losing the car over a few quid a month is it. I went into the Seat dealer in Huddersfield while I was there for work on Tuesday. They had a regular Cupra in the show room which was locked up. I was hanging around for 5 minutes before walking out. I walked straight passed the 2 salesman and they didn't even lift their heads from their iPads. Happy to pay a little bit more if that's the way you treated at the stealers.

Good video by the way.

This is an interesting one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tgdtVhQzJM&sns...

Popped into the dealer yesterday to do the finance, all accepted and ordered from the factory, I think on paper the deal is about 300 more than CVL over the term but I'm getting cash back from thier contribution and my car taken in for about £1k more than wbac at today's price.

They had a white one and a dynamic grey in the showroom, really glad I went for the grey now.

Yeah I like the dynamic grey but the only way to convince my misses was to let her choose the colour. She went for the monsoon grey. I think they look great in all the colours

That's a cracking deal! Saving circa £300 and dealing direct with Seat dealer is a good move.

When I ordered I asked Scott at CVL when the cut off would be for changing the colour as I was havering between dynamic grey and silver. The heavily retouched shots in silver look great but I think it will look a bit bland in the dull scottish weather. The trouble with dynamic grey is that it's so hard to pin down. It looks white in a lot of photos. PH summed it up well when they described their DG long termer as a faded Gulf blue or Blu-tac colour. Anyone else find it odd the Black edition can't actually be ordered in black?

Totally agree with everything you've said. The car configurator is useless of getting a true view of the dynamic grey. I even looked at dynamic grey ones on autotrader but they differ from car to car depending I guess on what type of camera and weather etc

Yeah strange that you can't get black

Someone on the main leasing deals forum is saying that vwfs have increased the rentals on this deal now, needs confirming but if it is correct can I ask permission to wear a smug grin for the next 12-14 weeks until the car is delivered?
