Here it is at last, my LSRX intake 102mm from FAST. I need a throttle body of course to support this enlarged unit but for now here is the end result. Sadly the rails arrived in black instead of red which wasn't what I asked for but having purchased from the USA and having had to return items already to FAST I couldn't be bothered with messing around again so I can live with them for now smile

Depends what sort of power you're making, as the factory 92mm does support quite a lot of airflow...

I only mention this as getting an electronically operated 102mm is expensive (only one option I believe?), and the cable driven ones would require software / throttle pedal tweakery.

Have you taken it out yet? Had it mapped at all? When I installed my 102 I noticed what seemed like a huge increase in urge around 4,000rpm and up which I wasn't expecting.

Did you get a before figure to compare at the same dyno?

Oh. Best colour by the way smile Dont worry about the rails had they been mauve you would have been in trouble.

Surprising they took so long to sell the LSXR in something other than light grey...looks great in black. To be different I went graphitey.

You'll need the larger throttle body and a good tune to get the most out of it. The FAST 102s are great for the LS2 engines, and the smaller fast are better for the LS1 engines. The good thing about the Fast 102 it gives you room to grow, and it will work great with a stroker engine as well.

Monaro, yes. The OTRCAI is X-air - I imported it from NZ, but you can get them from the states now. Looks like there have been design tweaks and you can now get a plastic one (mine's fibreglass). The filter is huge, I think it's a good 'un.

Sorry for the hijack Yana.
