Hi,

i have long tube headers fitted that connect to a walkinshaw exhaust system. I need to fit my sports cats that i have brought. Does anyone have any pictures of where they have located theirs?

Im stuggling to find a place to fit them as the pipe connected to the header has an s bend straight away to connect to the centre section that has a X pipe. If i fit them after the X pipe surely they will be far to far away from the engine and take ages (if ever) to get upto temp?

Ideally as close as possible..I reckon a custom exhaust place can make them fit..being removeable would be a bonus too just put em on for mot.

After seeing that pic, i will probably make up another centre section with cats so once i have an mot i can put the old one back in.

I've got Proflow longtubes with 3" magna flow cats fitted in the s bends connected to a wortec cat back, there wasn't a lot of room but the do fit.
There are some picks of them before I fitted them here:

I can probably do you some draft measurements of what I have as I marked it out on cad before I bought the materials. The 3.5" bend was quite difficult to get hold of as most on ebay and tube suppliers were to tight a bend radius.

I think these measurements should get you started don't take them as a perfect fit as i still did a bit of fettling under the car and cut the bends slightly over size and slipped then through the flanges to get the length right. The two bolt flanges on the wortec are in the stock position and i did one side at a time so the cat back stayed bolted in the correct position . I think the 3.5" pipe i got from ebay and was 175mm CLR not 180mm as that was all i could find but it made little difference to the fitting
