I'm afraid I now have to pull out of this due to circumstances outside of my control. Real shame as I've not been to MW Performance before and would have liked to see what they have...

No worries Paul - thank you for letting me know.

I think there's a dedicated magazine shoot in the pipeline for October - I'll keep you posted.

Best

Ian

Hi all,

As you know we are holding a casual meet here at my work MWP Chester, even though this is a casual meet we will be holding a charity raffle we have some great prizes including a Sat Nav, Dash Cam, valeting sets...the list is endless! Performance Vauxhall are making a feature of the whole weekend so no doubt your cars will be in the magazine, you have a chance to meet MWP Staff and customers along with fellow enthusiasts, you will have an exclusive tour of our workshop and showroom where we have a couple of VXR8's for sale (did have loads but sold a few over the past week or two!) As I said we are holding a charity raffle, the proceeds of this are going to a cause that is very close to our hearts so please come a long and buy a ticket or 2 or more smile .....even if it is not for the whole day just pop in and say 'Hi' ...I know for a lot of you it is a long way away but North Wales and Chester is a lovely place to stay so you could possibly make a weekend of it and also North Wales is where the well know Evo Triangle is located.....An awesome drive that is !!!!!

Anyway hope to meet some of you there wink

Really gutted that I can't get along to this now. I was going to ask you what the chances would be of getting my car on the rolling road on the Sunday for a power run print out too...

Thank you Ron - and thank you to all of the other folk who turned up on the day and who made this, IMHO, a great success.

I'll post a note of gratitude to the MWP team (and some pictures/links to pictures later in the week when I get a sec).

Here's to the next one.

clap

It was a pleasure Mark, you will not be disappointed. If you need any info regarding fitting, just ask

Hi all,

Whilst I was able to place a face and car to most of the (PH) names on Sunday, if you wouldn't mind, could you send me a PM to confirm that you were there please (from the list below).

I'd like to be able to 'ping' you if anything else comes up that you might be interested in.

I'll also (reluctantly!) resurrect my Facebook account so that I can cross fertilize information.

:-)

Best wishes,

Ian

Great day out and meet some new friends, big thanks to Mark and his team.

Ian tried to find details on fog lamps from the box the lamps came in, could only come up with part no JM 330 oval fog lamp, they measure 90mmx69mmx64mm depth. I have looked on ebay and can only find them in blue lens made by JDM, you may be able to search the internet for clear lens, mine came from Bulgaria.

Hope this helps.
