Just bought a lovely 2004 model CV8 and need a couple of bits.

Anyone out there got a set of Wortec interchangeable straight thru pipes, that are direct replacement for the silencers that they don't want and prepared to sell?

Also looking for a small lip spoiler to go on the bootlid, to give the tail a bit of a up kick?

Thanks for reading
Regards
Boysie.

I have a set of pipe sections from an 04 VXR, which I think should be the same fitment. They were only on the car for a month, I can dig them out from the loft smile I can't seem to send you a PM though...

Zym,
Thanks for the quick response.
Don't think you can PM message me as yet, as I'm a newbie to the forum.
Maybe you can put a pic on the forum posting?

No, wasn't the blue one from Alton. Will keep looking for a spoiler. Someone suggested a VW Jetty lip spoiler would do the job - any ideas??

If this is what you're after, probably best to carry on via PM, as soon as you can smile

That looks like what I need. They are Wortec pipes - right? If so what do I have to pay you to get them? Happy to pay postage as well, as can see you are in Surrey and I'm in Essex.

Can you measure the pipes length and one of the tube circumstances. Are they 48-50cm length and 20cm circumference? Tnx Boysie

Update : straight thru pipes received from Zym and fitted. Boot lip spoiler also purchased and fitted.
Got to say, the exhaust sounds marvellous. Windows down and there' s a lovely burble going on , with a nice pop on overrun. Close the windows and it is very civilised, until you crack it round the Rev counter. exactly what I was looking for.
Tnx Zym.
Boot lip spoiler looks the biz, setting off the tail discreetly.
Will post some pics in the next week.

Nah, went for a curved M3 style of spoiler that is actually 3cm proud of the bootlid, so just removed the 3M adhensive strip on each end to allow the overlap to rest on each wing by 3cm to keep the finish and looks / shuts fine
