Do Monaro's have 'tune resistors' and 'ignition amps'?
if so where are they fitted and how do you change them?

Thanks John

I guess a question would have to follow this...

ie, what are you reading or who is telling you this silliness ?

Well...it's something I saw on the TVR site.
One of the owners described running issues he was having with his car.
These were identical to the problems that are driving me crazy with my Monaro.
Anyway, judging by your comment's,I will take a guess and say I have got things wrong... yet again I proved to the world what a tool I am!
It's booked into MF in September, hopefully they can sort it.

Regards john

A lot depends on the context and where the information came from hence asking. But as worded it sounds like nonsense.

The ignition coils do have built in amplifiers, something not accessible though and they rarely give trouble.

As for a "tune resistor"....

But as said sometimes people call regular things by the strangest names...or sometimes they misread or misunderstand..or sometimes it can just be gibberish
