Evening all.
I've recently bought an '04 model Impulse Blue CV8 and absolutely love her.
The car came with a cat back PowerFlow stainless system fitted, I think it's 2.5" but I've not measured it. It's straight through from cats to single twin tip exit.
I've just ordered a set of Tri-Y Pacemaker headers, my question is whether I should have the cats fabricated in or leave them out?
M.O.T.'s won't really be an issue, I'm more concerned with just how loud it will really be?
The PowerFlow sounds great, and I could live with a bit more soundtrack, but I don't want it to be overly invasive.
I know I can go down the "suck it and see" route and could always have the cats retrofitted back in, but was wondering if anyone on here had any personal experience with a similar set up.
Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully reply, Daz.

No cats do make it quite a bit louder.

That depends a lot on the rest of the system. Mine is at the moment. But I have centre boxes and rear on it. And it's still loud out back
