I am, they recovered me from roadside, as that what my cover includes. It's now at my house, so cover doesn't include a delivery from Merthyr to oxford.

Going to reevaluate my cover after this!

Find out how far away from home you have to be. Get a local tow truck to take you that distance, then call the AA and tell them it's got to go to Oxford. biggrin

Did it break down outside your house ? Or you have it taken home from when it broke down, Araf suggestion is quite a good one, at least they are fully insured if anything is likely to happen in transit to WP

Not likely they will recover for the same issue.

They recovered me from roadside to home. Can't see them being interested in taking it to To WP now.

Most breakdown companies share info to stop this sort of thing. Been there tried that in the past.

There's nothing that says you can't try to fix it yourself, and then it broke again soon after, so the car needs to be taken to an expert.

For the record, I played it straight when ours was at home and needed to get to Monkfish. I rang a local company who did a special rate to have a 4 day window to get it there. When they then had a recovery going that way, they also took ours and dropped it off en-route. Everyone's a winner. smile

Could try these http://www.uship.com/uk/profile/Mtsbirmingham/ - they come recommended. There are others on uship if too far away.
