I keep reading on the Facebook HSV owners group about people that only take out their cars once a month. Seems such a shame when people are unable to use their cars regularly.

What type of usage does your car get?

Mines a daily albeit lowish mileage commute. Means I smile at least twice a day!!

I've always struggled to understand the same, but each to their own!

I don't use mine for commute, but it's used regular. On the weekend I'm everywhere in it, I also don't work a Wednesday so I enjoy an amazing drive from Merthyr Tydfil, through the Brecon Beacons to Brecon town to visit my daughters.

Still amounts to about 8-10k a year

Mine's my daily, even through the winter. Put about 27k on during the two years I've had it, work is a 4 mile commute so most of the mileage comes from going out for a blast!

Mine is a daily driver. Every day. Including winter when there is snow on the road which surprises many people.

It's my only car. Plenty of folk ask me why I don't buy a runabout and just use this one for weekends? The answer is that the runabout would end up being parked in the garage as I wouldn't be able to resist taking the V8 to work every day.

Ours goes out less than once a week, we can walk to work and have two other cars we enjoy driving (all quite different) and I won't use it when they throw grit all over the road.

I seem to go two or three weeks at a time without getting a chance to drive my Ro. I guess that's as much to do with shift work as anything else.

I wish I could drive it to work without worrying about where I would have to park it.

Daily drive for work.

Although I could take the bus.

Or use my bike.

The 9 mile drive usually turns in to the long way home.

Unable?

I could use ours, but it's not ideal for the daily grind. More than happy with my commuters. smile

Another daily driver here. Lives outside too with the Lotus Carlton taking up the garage space.

Only use mine at weekends.
I would use it to go to work at the moment but there is no where to park.

My only car, but I have a short commute and don't go that far at weekends, so only 6k per year.

Mines my daily and lives outside, even though I've spent thousands modding it and it's lumpy and loud. And my drive home is normally longer than the drive to work too

Daily driver here. 22k in 21 months but started a new job a few weeks back where I can now drive to work rather than the train so prob looking at another 20k over the next year at least. Really need to get round to getting my upgrades fitted so I can have a near 800bhp commuter car biggrin
